THE SQUARE

The nightlife is set against the Jewellery Quarter’s rich cultural backdrop - a backdrop that finds it way into many bars and restaurants through art, photography and jewellery artefacts. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant - and effortlessly sophisticated.

The Jewellery Quarter is home to around 30 restaurants and bars, with the food ranging from the adventurous to the reassuringly classic. Italian, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Nepalese - there really is something to suit every mood. The most recent addition to the fine array of restaurants is Andersons bar and grill, which boasts the same popular management and kitchen team as the restaurant it replaces - old favourite The Bucklemaker.

The principal live music venue is Jools Holland’s famous Jam House. It hosts a wide array of singers, musicians and bands and has become well known for attracting some amazing talent who play to an enthusiastic, unpretentious audience.
